About Us

Who Is HANS HELPS

HANS HELPS is a live storytelling and educational project created by Hans Berlin / Florian Klein. It brings conversations about HIV, U=U, mental health and aging with HIV into queer centers, AIDShilfen, Checkpoints, Pride festivals and community spaces across Europe.

Why This Matters

HIV stigma still exists — often silently, often painfully.
For many, a positive test result still feels like an ending. Hans is living proof that it isn’t.

Since he publicly came out about his status almost a decade ago, Hans has spoken openly about living with HIV, using his platform in the adult-film world, onstage, and in media to help others understand that:

You can live. You can love. You can thrive. You can be HIV-positive and still be whole.
