HANS HELPS is a storytelling-driven initiative focused on HIV awareness, created by Hans Berlin — also known as Florian Klein. This initiative empowers individuals to live openly, joyfully, and without the HIV stigma that is often associated with the condition. Together, we can transform HIV stigma into strength and share the powerful message of U=U.

I’m Hans Berlin — an internationally known adult film performer turned activist. I’ve been living with HIV for over two decades. Since coming out publicly about my HIV status in 2017, I’ve built a happy, healthy, and fulfilled life for myself. Someone once told me, “By simply speaking the truth, you help others.” That’s why I started HANS HELPS: I believe that real stories change hearts faster than statistics ever can. I'm sharing my story to remind you that living with HIV does not define who you are. Remember, HIVpositive = Powerful. Undetectable. Unstoppable. Together, we can break HIV stigma, spread HIV awareness and empowerment

Clear, science-based information about the concept of U=U (Undetectable = Untransmittable) is crucial for HIV awareness. Understanding that individuals living with HIV who are on effective treatment cannot transmit the virus is essential in combating HIV stigma. Furthermore, resources like PrEP can provide additional support to those at risk of HIV, fostering a more informed and compassionate dialogue around the virus.

Honest conversations about HIV and HIV Awareness, including discussions about fear, shame, resilience, and joy.

It's crucial to ensure visibility for a generation of survivors living with HIV, who deserve to have their voices heard as we strive to increase HIV awareness and continue our fight against HIV stigma.

I’m lucky to live where I have access to medication that keeps me undetectable and healthy. But many others aren’t as fortunate. It’s 2026 — everyone should know how hard it is to get HIV. We shouldn’t fear people who aren’t undetectable just because they lack treatment. Please consider donating to help change that.
